The Liver 3D research project in which #Vidavo (3D printing of models of internal human organs to assist surgical procedures) is making significant progress since the first tangible results were presented by the 1st University Surgery Clinic of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the Papageorgiou Hospital and were impressive. Medicine is evolving by taking steady steps through strong partnerships, creating an exciting future for all.
The research project started in July 2018 and lasts for three years, co-funded with approximately 600,000 euros from the European Union and national resources through the Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (EPANEK) (project code: T1EDK-03599) and aims at the cooperation of research university institutions and companies for the transfer of know-how and innovation.
