Vidavo proudly announces its leadership role in the MARISSA project, a winning proposal in the Pharaon - Pilots for Healthy and Active Ageing, funded by the European Union’s #Horizon2020 program. MARISSA - MAnaging eldeRly dIabetes & aSsociated Sarcopenia heAlth - is a visionary initiative conceptualized by our consortium, comprising Vidavo, Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών - University of Athens, and Alliance for Integrated Care (AfIC).

MARISSA aims to revolutionize elderly chronic disease management, particularly focusing on individuals with Diabetes Type II and Sarcopenia. The project centers around developing a digital platform, accessible via web and mobile applications, tailored to support personalized care plans, facilitate remote monitoring, and analyze health and quality of life status.

The platform will enable healthcare professionals to efficiently manage medical data, create and track patient-specific care plans, and monitor progress. Patients, in turn, will be empowered to actively participate in their healthcare management, uploading essential health metrics, adhering to care plans, and connecting with a supportive community, thereby reducing isolation.
